Lt. Col. Richard E. Kyle Age 81 passed away on January 2, 2003 at home.
Lt. Col. Kyle retired from the United States Air Force in 1959 after 20 years of service in the Public Relations Department. He was Vice President of the Northern Region of AFA, member of the reserve officers Associations and Delaware Veterans Post #1 and VFW Post 5447, he was the original organizer of the Big Band Society.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Trundle Kyle; 1 son, Richard E. II and his wife, Barbara Kyle of Mt. Airy, MD; a half brother, Jeffery Kyle of Montreal, CN; 3 grandchildren, Thomas Kyle and his wife, Tonja, Richard Kyle, III and Jessica Kyle; 1 great grandson, Christopher. Mr. Kyle was preceded in death by his son, Dale Kyle in 1997.
Friends were invited to attend a Memorial service on Friday, January 10, 2003 at 12 noon at the MCCRERY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 3924 Concord Pike, Talleyville.
Burial is at Arlington National Cemetery.
