Attention all Post members, On Sunday, June 14th, the Post will be celebrating flag day by holding our annual flag retirement ceremony. The ceremony will start at 6:00 p.m.and prior to the start of the ceremony both the pool and the post bar will be closed while the ceremony is taking place and will reopen upon the conclusion of the ceremony. We encourage all our members and pool members to attend the ceremony to see how the symbol of our country is respectfully retired when they are no longer fit for service. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
We will be joined by two different Boy Scout Troops, BSA-260 Concordville and BSA-225 Aston that will participate in the ceremony. After the readings of the poems and the description of the parts of the flag, they will be burnt.
